Tattoo Aftercare

Your tattoo has been carefully created by a professional - now the healing (and the final result) is up to you.
Following these aftercare steps will help your tattoo heal properly, look its best, and reduce the risk of infection or complications.

- The Basics (First Day) -

After 2–4 hours, you can remove the wrap. With clean hands, wash your tattoo using liquid soap and warm water, then pat dry with a fresh paper towel and allow it to air dry fully.

Once dry, apply a thin layer of ointment with clean hands. (Thin means thin — your tattoo doesn’t need to swim in ointment. Just enough so it isn’t dry.)

After applying ointment, re-wrap your tattoo with fresh cling wrap.
This step is important!

Keeping your tattoo protected during the first few days helps prevent infection and supports a smoother healing process.

- Why Wrapping Helps -

Wounds heal best in a slightly moist environment. Wrapping helps trap your body’s natural healing fluids, keeping the tattoo hydrated and reducing heavy scabbing. It also protects the area from dirt, germs, and irritation while new skin forms.

- The Following Days -

For 7–10 days (or until healed), repeat this routine morning and night:
- WASH (warm soapy water)APPLY (a thin layer of ointment)
- WRAP (fresh cling wrap)

If you stop wrapping after 7–10 days, continue to wash and apply ointment for at least 4 weeks, morning and night, and anytime your tattoo has been exposed to sweat, dirt, or the elements.

- Important Tips -

Keep your tattoo cleanAvoid clothing that rubs on the area. Avoid the ocean, pools, and waterways for at least 2 weeks. Avoid sun exposure as much as possible - always wear sunscreen once healed

DO NOT pick or scratch your tattoo while it’s healing.
